    Winter Beaver Walks

From late autumn, the busy beavers get even busier as they prepare for winter. There's a lot to do, lodges and dams need to be repaired and maintained, and a food cache built next to the lodge. All of this involves the felling and coppicing of trees. Winter is a great time to see the results of all this activity. We won't see the beavers, but we will get a fantastic insight into their work and activities, which are much easier to see when leaves and other vegetation are absent.
