Kilmartin Museum (KM), and Heart of Argyll Wildlife Organisation (HAWO) are both passionate about the natural and archaeological/historical environment of Argyll and deliver activities to learners of all ages. We want to share some of that passion with the younger generation and so a bursary has been made available to any young person under 21 (or to a group of young people) to pursue a project that falls within the interest of KM & HAWO.
This fund is available for help with the following:
Travel expenses/course costs for:-
Visiting a recognised archaeological dig.
Taking part in a citizen science/wildlife survey.
A research trip/voluntary work/training.
Taking part in a short course/learning opportunity.
Please contact us for a chat if you feel you would like to discuss any ideas you have that may not fit with the above at info@argyllwildlife.scot
We ask that any successful bursary applicant produces a report with images/video of their experience which the bursary has been used for, which we place on both KM and HAWO websites.
More details can be found on our websites:
Completed applications should be emailed to info@argyllwildlife.scot
