The NHASMA Scholarship

The NHASMA Scholarship

Kilmartin Museum (KM), and Heart of Argyll Wildlife Organisation (HAWO) are both passionate about the natural and archaeological/historical environment of Argyll and deliver activities to learners of all ages.  We want to share some of that passion with the younger generation and so a bursary has been made available to any young person under 21 (or to a group of young people) to pursue a project that falls within the interest of KM & HAWO.

This fund is available for help with the following:

Travel expenses/course costs for:-

Visiting a recognised archaeological dig.

Taking part in a citizen science/wildlife survey.

A research trip/voluntary work/training.

Taking part in a short course/learning opportunity.

Please contact us for a chat if you feel you would like to discuss any ideas you have that may not fit with the above on info@argyllwildlife.scot

We ask that any successful bursary applicant produces a report with images/video of their experience which the bursary has been used for, which we place on both KM and HAWO websites.

More details can be found on our websites along with the application form which should be printed/downloaded to be filled in.
